Join Tri Arts Project on October 21 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. for the last TAP Talk Exhibition Opening of 2026 celebrating “A Creative Journey.” This show honors the many paths that lead artists to create, from first-time beginners to seasoned professionals finding new inspiration.
This exhibition brings together students and instructors from across Douglas County, showcasing a rich variety of media and perspectives united by one idea: that creativity is a journey worth celebrating at every stage. From bold experiments to refined mastery, each piece on display reflects a personal step forward — a moment of growth, discovery, or self-expression captured on canvas, paper, and beyond.
At this free public event, you are invited explore the gallery, meet the artists, and cast your vote for the first ever People’s Choice Award. We are excited to host local jurors Mayor Jason Gray and previous exhibition winner artist Erma Jean Woodis. Enjoy an evening of community and conversation as we celebrate the artists and the journeys that prove creativity has no finish line, and be inspired to keep creating and learning.

“This Place, Our Time” honors the shared milestones of Colorado’s 150th anniversary and the United States’ 250th anniversary through the creative lens of artists. This exhibition explores connection to place, community, history, identity, and the evolving spirit of the American West through a diverse collection of artwork and perspectives.
